With much pleasure we share that Khondker Zakir Ahmed (widely known as legendary Zak) has successfully defended his Ph.D. dissertation. Congratulations Dr. Ahmed.

At Georgia Tech, Dr. Ahmed has been working with Gigascale Reliable Energy Efficient Nanosystem (GREEN) Lab on energy harvesting for ultra low-power autonomous systems, wireless remote sensor network applications and energy delivery for IoT devices. His researches have been published in numerous prestigious journals and conferences and been awarded several best paper awards.

Dr. Ahmed will soon join Intel’s Circuit Research Lab as a research scientist in Hillsboro, Oregon. BSA@GT extends its warm regards and best wishes for Dr. Ahmed and hopes he will continue to make headlines.
